Business continues: a note from Stake

"What's happening in Dubai? Should I be worried?"

I've had this question more times in the past few days than in the past 12 months. And I get it… alarming headlines everywhere.

First things first: I hope you and your loved ones remain safe. Stay calm and follow official guidance.

Here's what I'm actually seeing and why our business continues as usual.

    What's happening on the ground

Daily life continues in Dubai - this is because of the extraordinary preparation and commitment from the UAE’s leaders.

All properties across our portfolio in UAE and Saudi Arabia, remain unaffected and continue to operate as normal.

Things at Stake are continuing as usual and our platform is fully operational.

This is happening because of years of preparation from the UAE and cooperation between the Gulf states.

    There's noise… and there's facts

While some headlines exaggerate what's actually happening, our community knows the strength Dubai presents.

Activity on our platform remains strong, because our investors understand the difference between short-term disruption and long-term fundamentals.

Those in Dubai, those familiar with this economy, they are not panicking. They remain confident, because they know the facts.

    Why the UAE is different

What stood out over the past few days was the initiative:

    • Clear government communication
    • Coordinated response systems
    • Infrastructure that performed exactly as designed
    • Daily life continued

This is the result of decades of investment. It's why millions choose to live here, why global businesses are headquartered here and why the UAE continues to attract investors.

    Addressing your questions

I know moments like this raise questions. Here's what I can tell you:

How does this affect property values?

So far, we're not seeing any major impact. The market continues to operate with stable transaction activity and demand.

The UAE has shown this resilience before, during previous Gulf tensions, the pandemic in 2020, and flooding in 2024.

Is this a good time to invest?

I'm not in the business of timing markets and I won't pretend to predict what happens next.

What I can say: the fundamentals that make Dubai attractive, population growth, infrastructure, regulatory clarity, quality of life, remain firmly in place.

Investors who understand long-term value don't make decisions based on headlines.

Is Dubai still a safe place to invest?

Yes. Dubai's safe haven status isn't just marketing, it's infrastructure, regulation and governance built over decades.

The UAE stopped all major threats, government communication was clear and immediate, and daily life continues.

Compare that to how other global cities have handled far smaller disruptions.

No one can predict future challenges, but a safe haven is not only about avoiding obstacles, but about how you respond to them.

    What Dubai's history tells us

This isn't the first time Dubai has faced challenges, but here's what makes this place different: where other countries are slow to respond, UAE leadership takes immediate responsibility.

I’ve been in Dubai for over 20 years… The pattern is consistent: long-term resilience beats short-term disruption - always.

We'll keep doing what we've always done: helping people build long-term wealth through property ownership in a region we believe in.

If you have questions, our team is ready to help at anytime.

Take care of each other. I'm proud to call the UAE home.

Thank you for your continued trust,
